Biography :

Pooja Hegde is an Indian actress and model who appears in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil films. Born on 13 October 1990 in Mumbai, Maharashtra, she hails from a Tulu-speaking Bunt family originally from Udupi, Karnataka. She was the second runner-up at the Miss Universe India 2010 pageant. Pooja made her acting debut with the Tamil film ‘Mugamoodi’ in 2012 and gained recognition with Telugu films like ‘Oka Laila Kosam’ and ‘Mukunda’ in 2014. Her Bollywood debut was in ‘Mohenjo Daro’ (2016) opposite Hrithik Roshan. She has since appeared in successful films such as ‘Duvvada Jagannadham’ (2017), ‘Maharshi’ (2019), ‘Housefull 4’ (2019), ‘Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’ (2020), and ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ (2021). Pooja is known for her dancing skills and has received several awards, including four SIIMA Awards.
