Parineeti Chopra is an Indian actress and singer known for her work in Hindi films. Born on October 22, 1988, in Ambala, Haryana, she pursued a triple honours degree in business, finance, and economics from Manchester Business School. Initially aspiring to become an investment banker, she returned to India during the 2009 economic recession and joined Yash Raj Films as a public relations consultant. Her passion for acting led her to make her film debut with ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’ (2011), earning her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. She gained critical acclaim for her roles in ‘Ishaqzaade’ (2012), ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’ (2013), and ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’ (2014). Parineeti has also showcased her singing talent in films like ‘Meri Pyaari Bindu’ and ‘Kesari’.
