Nayanthara, born Diana Mariam Kurian on 18 November 1984 in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, is a prominent Indian actress known for her work primarily in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam cinema. She began her acting career with the Malayalam film ‘Manassinakkare’ in 2003 and gained recognition with Tamil and Telugu films like ‘Chandramukhi’ and ‘Lakshmi’. Over the years, she has established herself as one of the leading actresses in South Indian cinema, earning the title ‘Lady Superstar’. Nayanthara made her Bollywood debut with ‘Jawan’ in 2023. She is also a successful entrepreneur, co-owning the production company Rowdy Pictures with her husband, filmmaker Vignesh Shivan.
