Anu Emmanuel is an American-born Indian actress who primarily works in Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam cinema. Born on March 28, 1997, in the United States, she began her acting career as a child artist in the Malayalam film ‘Swapna Sanchari’ (2011). She made her debut as a lead actress with ‘Action Hero Biju’ (2016) and gained recognition in Telugu cinema with ‘Majnu’ (2016), earning a nomination for the SIIMA Award for Best Female Debut – Telugu. Anu has since appeared in notable films such as ‘Thupparivaalan’ (2017), ‘Agnyaathavaasi’ (2018), ‘Naa Peru Surya’ (2018), ‘Shailaja Reddy Alludu’ (2018), and ‘Namma Veettu Pillai’ (2019). She continues to be active in the South Indian film industry with upcoming projects in multiple languages.
